Am I Concerned About the Governor Closing Churches? Yes and No.
Our governor recently mandated a complete shutdown on all churches, dine-in restaurants, concerts, sporting events, fitness centers/gyms, schools, daycares and most walk-in businesses other than the grocery, hardware, and clothing stores. Answer: Yes. If businesses were allowed to reopen and the churches weren’t - I would be very concerned! No. As of right now, I feel like it’s a good idea for churches to temporarily make other arrangements - like churches do when the flu hits them hard. Let’s be Christlike and love one another! Check on your neighbors, play with your children, and count your blessings. And if you really love your church and want it to reopen - continue supporting it.
