I know that it’s totally different and it feels quite strange to the most of us not having the freedom to come and go, as we once did. The one place that used to be our safe haven, The Church, is no longer accessible at our convenience! It seems that the devil has declared an all out war on the Church, but let me remind you that Jesus told Peter, “Upon this rock (Jesus) I’ll build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” I’m sure that we are under attack, but know this: we may have to have church at home more than we‘re used to, but the church started at home. Here is some encouraging scripture that Apostle Paul wrote to Philemon,
[1] Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer, [2] And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house: [3] Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. [4] I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,“ (Philemon 1:1-4 KJV). So, the Church got off to a good start at home and I believe that we can still grow strong in the faith of Christ at home; in light of the fact that our options are limited. God will bless our efforts when we put forth our best! Love and prayers,
Pastor John
